Description Anthony Prades 2010-12-30 16:46:50 UTC
If 'Portable player - MTP' plugin is enabled, when I connect my Canon Powershot A720 IS camera, Ghtumb is unable to import photos. Ghtumb don't list camera as a source. Nautilus don't show camera content too.

If I disable this plugin, all works fine.

Debian SID
gthumb 2.11.5
libgphoto2-2 2.4.6
rhythmbox 0.12.8
nautilus 2.30.1

I had the same problem with my Canon EOS 400D yesterday and found a Ubuntu report on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/544994

This is somehow related to bug #615743
