Last modified: 2015-09-05 06:28:11 UTC
Dear Developers, When user-settings.conf is not exist, happening following think with Orca preferences gui window: If I changed the default voice related speech parameters (rate, pitch and volume), before this change is not stored and not full restart Orca, the speech related parameter change is not full happening. Try following test, I using Espeak speech sinthesizer: 1. Remove your existing user-settings.conf file. 2. Set speech page a different speech rate, pitch etc. 3. You will be hear different pitch the normal voice, and different pitch for example the system voice. For example hear different pitch the role name and type. When you stored your settings and full restart Orca, this problem are solved. Attila
