Description jmparsons 2010-12-17 21:19:28 UTC
GnuCash version 2.2.9, with default AqBanking
aqofxconnect version 2.3.3

Repro steps:
1. Start the AqBanking Wizard.
2. In the Users tab, click New.
3. Select aqofxconnect backend, and click Ok.
4. In General tab, complete User ID and Bank ID (dummy text is fine), and select a country other than the default.
5. Click OK, which will open the OFX tab.
6. In the OFX tab, complete the FID, ORG, and Server URL fields (dummy text is still ok).
7. Check the box for Supports Account List Download, and Click Get Accounts.

**Results of Steps 1-7:
-There is no prompt for a password. The Requesting Account List window will open, with only one message: "[timestamp] Finished. You may close this window."
-ofx.log (if enabled) shows connection attempt with nearly all fields blank, including <USERID>, <USERPASS>, <FID>, and <ORG>.
-Clicking on the General tab reveals that the Country setting has reverted to the default (Germany).

Continue with these steps:
8. Select a non-default Country, and click OK. If all fields are completed as above, the window should close, and the newly created User now appears in the list.
9. Select the User and click Edit.
10. In the OFX tab, click Get Accounts.
11. A password prompt appears. Enter dummy text and click OK.

**Results of Steps 8-11:
-The program actually attempts to connect, sending a request and awaiting a response, as shown in the Requesting Account List status window.
-ofx.log shows connection attempt with fields completed as entered at configuration.

**Other notes:
-Bug repros regardless of country selection, even if left on default. Selecting a country other than default in the above steps simply highlights the return to default (and apparent failure to save the setting) after the first connection attempt.
-When real, valid data is entered, the bug repros until the completion of step 11, at which point the Account List Download is successful.
