Description Adammgregory 2001-11-04 17:10:28 UTC
Package: galeon
Severity: major
Version: 0.12.6
Synopsis: galeon freezes up
Bugzilla-Product: galeon
Bugzilla-Component: Mozilla interaction

Description:
Sometimes when I go to some sites with galeon, it freezes entirely and
the only way to shut it down is by killing it. I think it has something
to do with the flash plugin, but sometimes it works ok. I can view the
sites no problem every time in mozilla, so I'm not sure what's up. It
may have something to do with esd, which I don't have running because
I've never got it to work right with debian. Great browser, by the way,
I love the tabs and the speed, if it didn't freeze up at all, I'd use it
all the time. If it'd be helpful for me to compile galeon myself with a
symbol table and whatnot, and try to get more useful debugging output,
drop me a line at Adammgregory@yahoo.com . Thanks for your work on
galeon.
