Description fawnsfelicities 2010-12-01 17:00:18 UTC
Whenever I run my mouse over the "open recent" tab in the file menu I get an error msg that reads gimp-2.6.exe-no disk
there is no disk in the drive. please insert a disk into drive/device/harddisk4/DR4

I am given the option of canceling, trying again or continuing none of which clears the error msg and the program is effectively locked up until I ctrl/alt/dlt and force the program to close.

I'm sure there is a fix for this issue, where is it?

Thanks for providing an outstanding product!
Fawn

Is this a duplicate of bug #168156?
Comment 2 fawnsfelicities 2010-12-08 03:06:35 UTC
Sounds similar, the only difference is that the ONLY function that is not
working properly is the "open recent" - so long as I do not mouse over that
option everything else works perfectly (though I have limited knowledge &
experience with this kind of program). If I do mouse over that "open recent"
it locks everything up & will not allow me to exit the error message without
ctrl/alt/dlt

It's most likely a duplicate, caused by the samr root problem.
Resolving accordingly.
