Description Abderrahim Kitouni 2010-12-01 10:36:52 UTC
The right half of the icon is faded while in RTL locales, it is the left half that is below the application name.

see attachment 153454 [details] [review] and the review https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=584662#c61 for an old attempt to fix this (the code has since been refactored, so the patch doesn't apply anymore).

Wrong icon fade direction in RTL
Comment 2 Yotam Benshalom 2012-03-24 17:11:55 UTC
I can confirm this bug on ubuntu precise, gnome-shell 3.3.92-0ubuntu1. The left part of the icon, which is is belwo the text in RTL locale, is crisp, and the right part is faded. It should be the other way around.
Screenshot is attached.
