Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so and reopen this bug or report a new one. Thanks in advance!

Hey, I already had debugging symbols for glib, gtk+ and libc6 installed, but none for nautilus. Oh, the bug should be reproducible easily: (1) Create a directory with ~20 files (2) go into list view (3) select last file (4) press delete key (and do not release it) Here comes a new backtrace: ---------------------------- Distribution: Debian lenny/sid Gnome Release: 2.30.2 2010-11-12 (Debian) BugBuddy Version: 2.30.0 System: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Thu Nov 25 18:02:11 UTC 2010 x86_64 X Vendor: The X.Org Foundation X Vendor Release: 10707000 Selinux: No Accessibility: Disabled GTK+ Theme: Glossy Icon Theme: gnome GTK+ Modules: gnomebreakpad Memory status: size: 837459968 vsize: 837459968 resident: 125624320 share: 38977536 rss: 125624320 rss_rlim: 18446744073709551615 CPU usage: start_time: 1291047662 rtime: 29272 utime: 23813 stime: 5459 cutime:10673 cstime: 1530 timeout: 0 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 100 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus' [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] [New Thread 0x7f050b7fe710 (LWP 22395)] 0x00007f0539f60b4d in __libc_waitpid (pid=22397, stat_loc=<value optimized out>, options=0) at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/waitpid.c:41 in ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/waitpid.c
