GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 634979
F2/Renaming fonction in Nautilus
Last modified: 2010-11-22 19:06:48 UTC
F2/Renaming fonction in Nautilus : General behavior is different between the 3 views (list, compact or icons) When we use the "icons" or "compact" view in nautilus and when we try to rename (by pressing F2 or right clik -> rename) any file with a 3 letters extension (.jpg, .svg...whatever), the default selection is the text without his extension. OK, great behavior. BUT, when we switch to the "list" view, this behevior is different ! The extension belong to the défault selection.

hey. I have the same issue. It is really annoying when you want to rename several files and it only happens under List View.
