Description Kurtis Sawtell 2010-11-08 03:47:21 UTC
When i open up Banshee I have my ipod with 31GB of music connected. Everytime the database for this rockbox device is reconstructed. This might be because I have my music organized in the folder /MUSIC instead of /Music (this is because the PS3 recognizes this as the music folder by default)

Isn't there a way that i can avoid having the database being rebuilt everytime? Perhaps one of the database files in /.rockbox has the answer. Having a checksum run against the file would be a possible solution.

Any solution would be ideal as at this point i have to wait for a large database to be reconstructed every time.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
