GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 634097
Internal LCD under the closed lid used as primary display
Last modified: 2012-03-09 18:15:41 UTC
From https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=595644 1. Boot up with an external monitor attached to your desktop 2. Close the laptop's lid 3. The main display (by default) is the laptop's monitor, which is not accessible Instead we should detect that the lid is closed, and turn off the internal monitor instead.
Hi, while looking for a related mis-behaviour, I found this request. Will this be considered for GNOME 3.x line? Best Regards
I'm pretty certain this was fixed with Federico's work on the XRandR plugin for GNOME 3.4.
