Description Pierre Ossman 2010-10-23 12:37:12 UTC
Reading the keyfile spec, it has this to say about ipv4 addresses:

"For the 'auto' method, given IP addresses are appended to those returned by automatic configuration."

Unfortunately this feature is not accessible from nm-applet as the address area is greyed out when DHCP is selected.

Simply enabling it might not be the best idea either as it could confuse some people and not realise that it is optional. Perhaps another "mode" in the selection widget?

Closing as duplicate of bug 734021. Although this bug is older, the other one has some more discussion.
