Description C Bispham 2010-10-08 08:15:21 UTC
In Nautilus 2.32, when I select rename for a file, the file extension is now automatically selected, as well as the file name. In other words, the entire file name, including the "." and the file extension are selected.

This only occurs in List View. In Icon View and Compact View the old behavior remains, where only the name of the file is selected and not the "." or the file extension.

Is this an intentional change? This seems like a regression to me.

I'm running Arch Linux, Gnome 2.32, kernel 2.6.35.
