the gsettings(1) commandline tool doesn't do proper range checking, so you just get some error spew from the underlying layers.

it would also be nice if it supported some way of querying the range/choices of a particular key.

would also be very nice if the enumeration of choices could be used during tab completion.

First two parts are done now.

Tab completion for enumeration choices remains.
