Description William Jon McCann 2010-10-02 20:53:44 UTC
In GNOME 2.90 we're using symbolic status icons for power-manager, volume-control, etc. This is fine when running GNOME panel because it basically follows the gtk theme colors. The shell does not so the symbolic icons aren't visible against the black shell top menu bar.

Maybe this isn't an issue worth spending any time on since we should just quickly port these status icons to the shell js. But anyway here for the record.

Aren't the status indicators supposed to use symbolic icons as well? If so, the issue applies to the shell as well, right?
