Description Ertugrul Harman 2010-09-27 08:51:09 UTC
When I link a word or phrase to a new note, linked word or phrase still looks like the same. There is no sign of being a link, no underline, no blue color, nothing. Also, linked word or phrase is not clickable.

This problem takes the advantage of linked notes which is I think the most important feature of Gnote.

I had this problem on both 0.6.2 and 0.7.2 on Ubuntu 10.10.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Could you please check, if this is related to Unicode issues. We have fixed those in gnote 0.6.4 and upcomming 0.7.3.
If you can, could you check this with the most recent version from git.
Otherwise, try the following:
1. Create a note, that has NO INTERNATIONAL CHARACTERS, that is only english characters. Creating a link from this note should work.
2. If (1) still does not work, try creating a link on the first work in note and make sure there is no empty lines between title and that word.

Thank you for your reply. (1) worked. So I think I must upgrade to 0.6.4 or wait for 0.7.3. Could you please tell me when 0.7.3 will be released?
