Description hey 2010-08-29 00:53:31 UTC
Currently, clicking on an archive opens file-roller. To extract an archive, one needs to right-click and select ›Extract Here‹.

As the major use case for archives (mostly downloads) is extracting them rather than modifying files in them, this should be switched:
Double-clicking (or clicking in single-click mode) should extract the archive (like on Mac OS).
The right-click option for ›Extract Here‹ should be changed into something like ›Edit Contents‹, which would then launch file-roller.

Whoops, sorry about that. Bug in Bugzilla: ›Commit‹ button should be disabled after clicking. ;)
