Description Josselin Mouette 2010-07-14 19:23:48 UTC
The detection for the Xnest and Xephyr binaries is currently done at build time, and the result is hardcoded. This is a problem for two reasons.
 - You shouldn’t need Xnest/Xephyr on the build host.
 - It is possible to install either of them on a system, and therefore both should work.

Which is why the xnest binary should be a script shipped by GDM, that detects whether one of them is available at runtime.
Comment 1 Josselin Mouette 2010-07-14 19:24:48 UTC
Of course this is useless as long as the nested login functionality is not available.
