GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 624277
Gimp crashes when Fonts drop-down list is scrolled
Last modified: 2010-07-13 20:10:33 UTC
The following steps will faithfully cause 1) Gimp to crash or 2) the font dropdown list to close: 1)Click on the fonts button in the Main toolbox. 2)Click the Tool Options dialog tab. 3)Click on font selector button in the Fonts dialog to get the drop-down menu of available fonts. 4)Click directly on the horizontal/vertical scroll bars OR click the Up/Down or Right/Left arrow buttons to scroll the list. The moment I click the scroll bars either the drop down list will close instantly or Gimp crashes and I get the Windows message: "gimp-2.6.exe has stopped working" The program crashes 90% of the time. *If I use the mouse wheel to scroll the drop down list, no problem *If I dock the Fonts dialog tab and access the Fonts list in the Fonts dialog, I can click on the scroll direction bars and click on the scroll direction buttons with no problem.
