Given the following in the source code:

/// @brief Description of the struct
/// 
struct someStruct {
	int i;
	int j;
} someVar; ///< Description of the variable

The brief description "Description of the struct" is used for both someStruct and someVar and "Description of the variable" is used as the detailed description for someVar.

Expected behavior would be to have "Description of the struct" used as the brief description for only someStruct and to have "Description of the variable" used as the brief description for someVar.

Confirmed. Should be fixed in the next subversion update.

This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in
doxygen version 1.7.2. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the
bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information
that you think can be relevant.
