For GLib 2.25.5 GDBus D-Bus support was merged, providing an API to replace dbus-glib.

According to a quick grep this module seems to use dbus-glib:

./gnome-shell/configure.ac:PKG_CHECK_MODULES(MUTTER_PLUGIN, gio-unix-2.0 gtk+-2.0 dbus-glib-1 mutter-plugins
./gnome-shell/configure.ac:PKG_CHECK_MODULES(GDMUSER, dbus-glib-1 gtk+-2.0)

bug 621203 has patches to remove our own use of dbus-glib.
The gdmuser code is a cut+paste from gdm, so the rest of this is a dup of gdm's "port to gdbus" bug.
