Description Nicklas Overgaard 2010-05-25 19:42:39 UTC
When you try to open a file, with a # in the name, evince simply fails with "Unable to open document" - "Error opening file: No such file or directory".

Opening the file in e.g. okular (KDE's PDF viewer) works fine.

How to reproduce:
1. Find a PDF somewhere, and rename it so that it's name contains a #
2. Try and open with evince.

I'm running on Arch Linux x86_64, fully updated as of today the 25th of May, 2010.

Hi,

Nice to hear that it has already been solved. I'll just have to wait for the ArchLinux gnome maintainers to send out new packages.

Sorry for cluttering your bugzilla with an already posted bugs though. I did try a search for this, but ended up with nothing.
