Description patrickdk 2010-05-15 14:53:40 UTC
I use hamster on 3 different systems to track my time. It would be great if there was an option to merge the databases on the different systems into one, for when I generate time reports.

I was thinking that an Import and Export option would probably be the best method, without adding just a specialized way to do this.

simply sync database file using services like dropbox or ubuntu one or similar. alternatively you could do the same thing via conduit.
the database file is located in $HOME/.local/share/hamster-applet/
If it gets overwritten the application will pick up the changes and refresh.
This info you can also find in the hamster applet help (right click -> help on applet or follow the "tell me more link" when no activity is being tracked)
