Recently I tried to open a .dvi file and evince told me that the format is not supported. Using evince for a few years now, I new this was not really the case. I had to manually install the evince-dvi (?) package. This was on fedora.

Would be nice if packagekit could be used to install the needed backend packages as needed. Or at least, make the message a bit more descriptive... so that users don't think dvi is really not supported. Same for djvu I guess.
