Description gioppoluca 2010-04-27 14:42:43 UTC
In version 0.97.1-1 on win2k at the start user receives:
"Cannot find procedure 'freeaddrinfo' in DLL 'WS2_32.DLL'"
This is blocking.
It could be related to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=601840 ?
Thanks

It is bug #611696 describing the issue: apparently GLib (gio) above 2.20.x adds the dependency missing on win2k. The Dia sources should work with earlier versions, it is setup which would require a change.

Mailed with Steffen about downgarding the gtk version in Dia setup to support an obsolete OS. Sorry, it is not going to happen. See also bug #611696 - which has the IMO misleading status fixed.
