Description Marcel Telka 2010-03-21 21:08:29 UTC
Please add a translator comment for the following string:

#: ../applets/clock/clock.ui.h:7
msgid "Display"
msgstr ""

Without further information it is unclear whether the word "Display" is noun (like screen, LCD display) or verb (to display, show), or something else.

Thanks.

The similar message is following:

#: ../applets/clock/clock.ui.h:14
msgid "Panel Display"
msgstr ""

Even worse, if "Display" is noun here, what is "Panel Display"?
Please add a translation comment with short explanation in this case.

OTOH, if the "Display" is verb here, the message should read "Panel Displays", I think.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
