stretched input bar

With the addition of the speaker test button, the capplet gets stretched horizontally, which makes the level bar on the input tab look truly horrible.

Screenshots attached.

Fix dialogue getting too wide because of card settings

But leaves the problem of differentiating clipped entries.
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2010-03-16 15:30:56 UTC
The problem is that it clips the input configurations on my system, with no way of getting them back.

So we should probably think about presenting the selection differently. Maybe split lines? Not sure.

Mass move to gnome-control-center.
Comment 5 Bastien Nocera 2010-11-16 17:11:12 UTC
I believe that the comboboxes can now have wider popups than their parent widgets, so this would fix the problem for us, and avoid too wide dialogues.
