Description Jakub Steiner 2010-03-04 16:36:32 UTC
App like ampathy depend on stock-person. We need an equivalent and provide the mapping in legacy-icon-mapping.
Comment 1 Lapo Calamandrei 2010-03-22 14:34:25 UTC
We need a proper name, any idea, I can't think about anything fitting our categories. And it would be better to just fix empathy once we have a proper name then using the legacy mapping.
Comment 2 Lapo Calamandrei 2010-03-29 19:44:43 UTC
The best name I can think about is emblem-user, what do you think?
Comment 3 Jakub Steiner 2010-03-31 15:44:47 UTC
I'm tempted to provide avatar-default for empathy and not add to gnome-icon-theme.
Comment 4 Lapo Calamandrei 2010-03-31 22:59:51 UTC
Is empathy the only app which needs the person icon? And anyway which category are you going to use for avatar-default?
Comment 5 Hylke Bons 2010-04-10 19:51:34 UTC
Add a mimetype "person"?
Comment 6 Lapo Calamandrei 2010-04-21 14:10:43 UTC
we need this one sorted out, we have 3 different proposals. I kinda like the mimetype tho even if it's wierd :-)
Comment 7 Hylke Bons 2010-04-21 14:27:19 UTC
actually, 'user' would be more consistent with the spec and for fallbacks.
(we can add seringes and powder ;))
Comment 8 Lapo Calamandrei 2010-04-22 12:36:40 UTC
we have avatar-default in g-i-t master, closing.
