GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 611325
epiphany-webkit: fails to trim whitespace at the end of the URL
Last modified: 2010-04-20 15:11:41 UTC
hi, a debian user reported the following minor issue with epiphany-webkit [0]. If I paste an URL from another window (say, an xterm), and that URL contains whitespace at the end, epiphany-webkit does not trim it, normally resulting in error 404. I have to manually remove the whitespace to get to the site. This is a annoying because 1. all other browsers I know trim trailing whitespace, and 2. since I run mutt inside screen inside an xterm, I get plenty of trailing whitespace when pasting. thanks. this is probably fixed with libsoup 2.29.91, unless something in some other layer (address bar, webkit, etc) is messing up too
This works fine as far as I can tell.
