forwarding the request from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=366779:

It'd be nice if the gdk-Drag-and-Drop.html page said what the
"targets" list is actually a list of, under the gdk_drag_begin
function and the GdkDragContext structure.  (I think it's "GdkAtom"s.)

Currently the page only says it's a GList*.
