GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 611299
dia: should not use absolute Image paths (esp. SVG export)
Last modified: 2010-08-02 18:17:53 UTC
Hi, a Debian user reported the following: ==================================================================== When embedding an Image (e.g. a PNG) in dia, dia seems to use a relative path, if the image is in the same directory (or downwards) as the diagram. It seems to prefer an absolute path, if the PNG is elsewhere and one uses the file selection dialog to select the PNG. In all cases, dia uses absolute paths for images in exported SVGs. Of course, this can lead to annoying problems when moving a project or checking out in another location. ==================================================================== See also http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=492400 Thanks for considering, bye, Roland
Same logic implmented for SVG plug-in (export+import): http://git.gnome.org/browse/dia/commit/?id=d461bd21220f0ae2ec5350685ef40fe2c7b87b52
