Description dwildes 2001-09-24 20:21:39 UTC
Package: gnome-core
Severity: major
Version: Redhat 7.1.94 beta (roswell)
Synopsis: Natilus (no New Shortcut Option) in GNOME
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core
Bugzilla-Component: panel

Description:
If you right-click on the desktop and try to create a new shortcut to a program with possibly some options after the executable, it can't be done without creating a shortcut on the panel and then copying that shortcut onto the desktop. I know this isn't a "Redhat" problem, but it should be something highly considered before releasing your new version.

This is still true on RH 7.0; Ximian; Nautilus 1.0.6
Comment 4 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-04-05 06:35:27 UTC
basically a dupe of bug 72715, just a little more general, since the
functionality doesn't even exist yet.
