Select file(-s), if nautilus running as

% nautilus file1

or

% nautilus file1 file2 file3

Now, nautilus opens directories only, and if the argument file - does nothing.

but nautilus is not a file manager, nautilus is a directory navigator, why do you want nautilus open files from a comander line?
Comment 2 jaa3 2010-02-09 13:52:25 UTC
Hmm,

> This is Nautilus, the file manager for the GNOME desktop (c) http://live.gnome.org/Nautilus

:)

If you have a directory with two hundred files, such as torrent download directory, and you want to open a specific file from torrent client, you can't do this and you have to search among a many files. If nautilus could select the opened file(-s), you will immediately get a file that you want.

ps sorry for my english
