Description Vish 2010-01-29 13:32:27 UTC
Bug first reported in launchpad>
https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/513004

When entering edit mode, the film strip does a long, slow slide from the previous photo position. This leaves the film strip animating for a very long time when you have a large photo library. When entering edit mode, this animation is excessive, and the user ends up waiting wait for it to complete before interacting with the film strip to access proximate photos.

There is a suggested change to reduce the animation on the launchpad bug, http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39464396/0001-Decreases-the-animation-time-for-the-filmstrip-slide.patch

Merged.
