Description Arky 2010-01-22 06:26:02 UTC
While introducing orca to some blind users, They find it difficult when desktop is announced as 'x-nautilus-desktop' frame. Perhaps it would be more intuitive if we simply call it 'desktop'.

Can we handle this in orca itself or do we need to patch nautilus.

We could potentially add a special pronunciation for this, but it's not something I think we should be doing. Instead, the proper place to fix this is nautilus. See bug #555425.

Submitted a patch for bug #555425. Hope someone reviews it and commits it soon.

Also filed a similar bug #610789 for 'x-nautilus-search'
