Description Benedict Stein 2010-01-18 14:54:51 UTC
Problem is I've added a contact and doesn't see the saved name or online status now.

IN this bug I would request to add this option to ask the user to retrieve others status automaticly, but it looks like this one dosn't exist yet, without it you CAN'T see new contact in empathy !!

this affects at least ICQ possibly MSN too.

"that when you add a contact the contact don't receive any request of adding you as a contact " -> from LP@om26er

The reporter actually want to have a feature which should allow users to hide a specific contact(or all contacts) from the contact list without removing and having them back from an *ignore list* if wanted.
Comment 4 Omer Akram 2010-01-19 08:50:41 UTC
actually not ignore list rather a hidden list

Hi,
This won't happen without someone providing a patch for it, sorry.
