Description Praveen Thirukonda 2010-01-07 10:31:28 UTC
related to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=605701

there should be a setting maybe even default to save the subtitles in the folder where the movie exists. this will be helpful in using the video on different computers, operating systems, upgrades, etc and also puts the data where it correctly belongs.

subtitles are not app data but related to that video file.

This isn't something we're interested in doing.

I agree with Praveen, at least should be an option to save the subtitle in any directory that the user chooses. Like on in Media Player Classic for Windows.
