Description Ben Benedek 2009-12-31 17:51:49 UTC
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 (Gnome), downloaded my Anjuta (2.28.0.0) from the Ubuntu Software Center, once trying to Debug an (any) application (Shift-F12) I get an error saying "Cannot start terminal for debugging."

While trying to execute the same application (or any other application) it works fine and runs from console in Anjuta (using the Terminal plugin).

I think it's a duplicate of bug #602507. It has been fixed in Anjuta 2.28.1 but I don't know if the corresponding Ubuntu package is available. If not, perhaps you can send a bug report in Ubuntu bug system.

Anyway you can fix it youself by renaming anjuta-launcher to anjuta_launcher.
