Description Rich 2009-12-30 16:27:40 UTC
If you guys are tired of fixing bugs and want to add a new feature, here's one I'd really like to see -

After a few seconds, say 3, the controls should disappear, as if the user had pressed 'h'. The same should also happen if the window loses focus. They should return if the user interacts with the program. This would save precious netbook screen real-estate, and it's much nicer visually if the controls aren't there all the time, and isn't the point of a movie player to display things nicely?

I assume that the best way to do this would be through a plugin, which would allow customization of this behaviour.

Thanks!
Keep up the good work.

Bug 614836 has a patch for that feature.
