Description Sense Hofstede 2009-12-15 17:19:57 UTC
When you mount an archive with the archive mounter it is properly mounted and an entry shows up in the places sidebar and at computer:///. However, in contrary with the default behaviour for other mounts like USB devices and CDs, Nautilus doesn't open the archive in a new window or even asks you what you want to do.

The original reporter suggest to open the archive in a new Nautilus window as soon as it's mounted.

This bug was originally reported by Dave Ahlswede at Launchpad in Ubuntu at <https://launchpad.net/bugs/296585>.

I still think this is more a Nautilus burden, something we probably can't easily affect from GIO side.
