GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 603415
Out of memory crash with text tool
Last modified: 2009-11-30 21:19:08 UTC
1. open existing png 2. select text tool 3. enter a text string 4. Under the tool options for the text tool increase the font size in px to around 8192 5. hit {enter} 6. get a "GLib-ERROR **:gmem,c:156 failed to allocate 668672400 bytes aborting..." dialog Yes, I know I shouldn't ask for a bit of text that large. It was a typo meant to edit the existing font from 62 to 82 px. Running - Windows vista sp1 intel xeon E5410 @2.33GHz 4 gig ram 32 bit OS NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700
