Description JT Moree 2009-11-16 16:13:27 UTC
Since it is possible to have multiple tasks lists 'List Name' (or just 'List') should be an available column in the Tasks view. This is meta data this is extremely useful for printing, viewing, and sorting.
Comment 1 Matthew Barnes 2009-11-16 18:03:28 UTC
Being able to group by task list name might be better than a column.
Comment 2 JT Moree 2009-11-16 18:36:00 UTC
When I print my list of tasks I would like to see the list name that goes with each task. I also want to be able to group and sort with the information. A column would allow for all of this functionality.

I agree, this would be very useful. Grouping all tasks by e.g. categories or status (with no grouping by task lists) enables Evolution users to use a "GTD approach", see http://wiki.43folders.com/index.php/Evolution .

This is bug #272854 and bug #257154. I'm marking this as a duplicate of the former.
