Description Brian J. Murrell 2009-11-06 20:35:38 UTC
Is it at all appropriate for gio to utilize proxies for making it's connections, where applicable? I would think a binding to libproxy would be very helpful in this effort.

Maybe this doesn't belong in GIO, but it seems like a natural fit to me. This would give all glib/gtk/gnome applications proxy support without any effort of any individual project and would concentrate excellent proxy support in one location instead of spread across forty-eleven projects.

Thots?
