GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 600616
about:config does not work in epiphany-browser 2.28
Last modified: 2009-11-04 10:20:01 UTC
epiphany does not open configuration page when typing about:config as it was the case for the gecko version of epiphany.
Sorry, but about:config was never supported in Epiphany; the fact that it (sometimes) worked in earlier versions was a side effect of the Gecko back-end. Please feel free to open a new bug for any other problems you find!
How then can I 'configure' epiphany (the default search engine, for example)? In the epiphany FAQ it says to use 'about:config' for that: <http://live.gnome.org/Epiphany/FrequentlyAskedQuestions#head-c550ac36f24d1a2eeac0c6cd5ff706b997a79719>

I suggest you ask on the mailing list about configuring the default search engine, I don't know the answer.
