Description kerzenmacher 2009-11-03 22:21:26 UTC
epiphany does not open configuration page when typing about:config as it was the case for the gecko version of epiphany.
Comment 1 Reinout van Schouwen 2009-11-03 23:26:07 UTC
Sorry, but about:config was never supported in Epiphany; the fact that it (sometimes) worked in earlier versions was a side effect of the Gecko back-end.

Please feel free to open a new bug for any other problems you find!

How then can I 'configure' epiphany (the default search engine, for example)?
In the epiphany FAQ it says to use 'about:config' for that:

Good point about the FAQ, I've added a note about 2.28. I suggest you ask on the mailing list about configuring the default search engine, I don't know the answer.
