Description T 2009-11-02 17:09:53 UTC
gimp actually uses top left corner for origin O.
Origin O in inkscape is bottom left.

Although you do have the choice on how you do want to set the axis, origin O is interpreted as bottom left by most people, especially when working with 3d.

So origin O bottom left corner by default please.

Hi! Our bug tracker is not the right place to make suggestion, please use the gimp-developer mailing list for that. Thanks!

Sorry to have to read that. It's another case of our software is perfect, again.

I can't see any value at all in me subscribing to a mailing list for developers that create software that I don't use. I tried gimp. Found this bug. Reported it to you. You don't want to fix it.

Your loss. I don't use the software. There are much better alternatives everywhere else to the gtk stack. I'd even buy a mac than use gtk.
If you ever decide to fix this bug, then feel free to comment back or even correctly change the status for the report.
