I'm probably doing something wrong, but I'm a bit puzzled here since 2.20.1
builds just fine with the same method.

oh and I wanted to build the new glibmm because of a new warning I'm getting in all C++ apps:

GLib-GObject-ERROR **: Attempt to add property GtkMenuBar::local to class after it was derived

thought new gtkmm and glibmm would fix that maybe.

What's a "sandbox" in this case. What's the actual error that you see?

Actually figured it was exactly what was re-reported in bug #610854. Thanks for keeping an eye on this.
