GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 597809
PolkitLockButton shouldn't change size when unlocked
Last modified: 2019-02-23 02:45:30 UTC
Created attachment 145047 [details] After: wide and uncentered The button's label changes according to the status of the authorization. Then, since the unlocked text is longer than the original one, the button gets wider. This forces dialogs to resize and they get ugly and uncentered on the screen. See attached screenshots of the gnome-system-tools for a spectacular illustration of this problem (combined with GtkButtonBox issues). It should be possible to set the button's original size to the maximum size it will require. Ideas?
