just installed the 2.3.6 binary.  After installation, when I launch GnuCash, I get the following error 
gnucash-bin.exe - Entry Point not Found
The procedure entry point xaccSchedXactionFree could not be located in the dynamic link library libgncmod-engine.dll.

After this message, I click OK, and get it one more time, then  a slightly different error:
gnucash-bin.exe - Entry Point not Found
The procedure entry point xaccAccountGetFullName could not be located in the dynamic link library libgncmod-engine.dll.

Then the program loading window comes up and the tip of the day comes up then both disappear after a few seconds. I do not see any evidence of any remaining running processes after this.  It happens every time - 100% repeatable.

I have:
tried multiple times
restarted computer
run the installer again
tried again

Computer: 
Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 (fully patched)x86 version
Athlon 64 3400+
2GB RAM

Hopefully this is enough information to get a fix.  For now I am going back to an older version.

2.3.6 is broken, please wait for 2.3.7. Sorry for that.
