Description Michael Monreal 2009-10-02 15:29:47 UTC
Run this:

gnome-terminal --tab --title="One" --tab --title="Two"

The "--title" parameters seem to be ignored (title ends up being "user@host: pwd" for both tabs). Manually setting the title (right click on a tab, then "Set title...") works, though.

Dup of bug 567158 ?
Comment 2 Michael Monreal 2009-10-02 16:33:36 UTC
Hmm maybe. I initially thought something like that could be the problem but if I set the title using the menu, the title sticks even if "something" is supposed to change the terminal title.

For example, if the title is set correctly but bash instantly overwrites it with user/host/path, my custom title set via the menu should be overwritten on next "cd" to another directory?
