After installing GnuCash i saw the splashscreen. When the splash screen closes, no more windows from GnuCash are opened. I see a gconf2d.exe is running in the task manager.

Same problem with a fresh install on Windows 7.

Further confirmation here - numerous uninstall and reinstalls have made no difference.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
