Description srbaldomero 2009-09-27 17:53:44 UTC
Hello,

One of the features I lack the most from Photoshop (a part from creating groups of layers, which I've seen will be implemented in version 2.7.x) is the possibility of creating arrows easily.

One example of usage would be when doing tutorials with screenshots, where you need to make clear the steps to perform or the button that the user needs to click. In these cases drawing an arrow that points to the requested place would be great, but unfortunately there's no way to do this in GIMP. There's a possibility of manually drawing an arrow, but the results are far from being good (each arrow looks different, it's difficult to draw an arrow when it's not orthogonal... and so on).

Hope you can consider this feature that I'm surprised has not yet been implemented to this great tool.

Regards
